In the world of fantasy football, the stakes can get as real as it gets—and for Cheboygan's Wyatt Wiltfong, that meant facing down a challenge that would test both his stomach and his stamina. The Cheboygan junior, who suits up for the Chiefs on the gridiron, found himself at the center of an unforgettable evening that had nothing to do with touchdowns or tackles.

It was all because of a fantasy season gone sour. After finishing dead last in his league, Wiltfong had to pay the price: the dreaded Milk Mile. That's right—a full gallon of milk, four laps around the track, and no shortcuts allowed. On Friday, May 1, at 5:30 p.m., with Cheboygan High School's upgraded track as his stage, Wiltfong stepped up to the line, ready to face the music.

But he didn't do it alone. A solid crowd of supporters rallied behind him, turning the event into something straight out of a sports movie. Cheboygan High School athletic director Jason Friday even got in on the action, blasting the "Rocky" theme from the press box to keep the energy high. And while Wiltfong admitted he hadn't trained for the challenge—barely eating or drinking water that day—he leaned on the crowd's energy to push through the "adversity" that came with every sip and stride.

"You have to keep on doing it," Wiltfong said after crossing the finish line. "I had to do it or else. I didn't train for it at all, which I probably should have. It's still good to see everybody here, but it just kind of sucks having to run a mile."

So, what led to this punishment? Wiltfong pointed to a few key moments in his fantasy season that went sideways. "It was all (Jahmyr) Gibbs and the refs," he explained. "It was Puka's (Nacua) last catch of the year, and they didn't count it, which it was obviously a good catch, and Gibbs got me." In the end, the Milk Mile became a lesson in perseverance—and a reminder that in fantasy football, the losses can be just as memorable as the wins.
