COLLEGE STATION — One of the biggest strengths for the 2025 Texas A&M football team was its offensive line.

The Aggies returned seven players and all five starters from 2024, forming a rotation that would be among the best in the SEC. The group was a semifinalist for the Joe Moore Award, given to the nation's best offensive line.

Part of that success came from the return of Chase Bisontis, who made more than 30 starts over three seasons with the Aggies. Following another strong season, Bisontis opted to forgo his final year of eligibility. He is one of three A&M players to declare early for the NFL draft.

The question now is: Can he bring that same consistency and reliability to the NFL?

Here's what to know about the former Texas A&M standout and how he could fare in the pros:

Notes:Was a four-star recruit and the No. 1 recruit in the state of New Jersey in the 2023 class... Started all 13 games as a freshman... Earned a spot on the SEC all-freshman team and was named an ESPN freshman All-American... Missed three games in 2024, making 10 starts... Returned his junior season and started all 13 games, helping the Aggies to a top-four scoring offense and the No. 3 rushing offense in the SEC in 2025.

Most of this information will not be available until Texas A&M's pro day or the NFL Scouting Combine.

Strengths:Big and strong, yet surprisingly athletic... Athleticism shines in pass protection, where he finished 2025 with a 70.7 pass-blocking grade. Strong at the point of attack and a good anchor once he gets his hands on a defender. A solid run blocker who is effective in space. Productive and dependable; missed only three games in his collegiate career. Day 1 starter in the SEC with valuable experience against top competition.

Weaknesses:Could be cleaner in his technique... Hand placement and footwork can be fine-tuned... A better pass protector than a run blocker, finishing 2025 with a 62.7 run-blocking grade... Play discipline leaves more to be desired; flagged 16 times over the last two seasons.

What our reporter noticed:Bisontis was a stalwart on the Aggies' offensive line... Viewed by some as the best prospect on a veteran offensive line... His return to health this season and consistency were important to see... One more year at A&M would've helped him, especially in today's NIL landscape, but it makes sense why he'd head to the league early to capitalize on a strong season.... Expect him to have a 10-plus-year career as an NFL lineman.

NFL player comparison:Erik McCoy, New Orleans Saints
