Charlie Woods is stepping back into the spotlight, ready to defend the most significant title of his young career. The son of golf legend Tiger Woods will tee it up at the Team TaylorMade Invitational from May 21-24 at Pelican Golf Club in Belleair, Florida.
This prestigious three-day event will gather an elite field of junior talent, including current world No. 1 Miles Russell and local standouts Giuseppe Puebla and Jessy Huebner. It's the perfect stage for Woods to showcase the skills that made him a champion last year.
In May 2025, Woods announced his arrival on the national junior scene with a stunning victory at this very event, then held at Streamsong Resort. His 15-under-par performance secured his first American Junior Golf Association (AJGA) invitational win, rocketing him into the AJGA's top 10 and defining a breakout season.
Now ranked 17th nationally and freshly committed to Florida State University, Woods returns with valuable experience and the confidence of a defending champion. The tournament itself has strong Florida roots, having been hosted at several premier Palm Beach County clubs since its inception in 2021.
All eyes will be on this next generation of golf stars as Charlie Woods aims to prove his first major win was no fluke and solidify his path toward following in his father's iconic footsteps.
