The atmosphere at Celtic Park is about to get a significant boost with the imminent return of the Green Brigade this Saturday. However, a major fan initiative is creating a different kind of buzz off the pitch.

The Celtic Fans Collective has launched a new campaign urging supporters to strategically delay their season ticket renewals. Dubbed "Delay 'til the Final Day," the movement aims to use the renewal deadline as leverage to voice concerns over the club's direction.

In a statement released ahead of the Green Brigade's return from a five-month absence, the Collective made its stance clear. While they are scaling back matchday protests to fully support the team in the crucial final push for the Scottish Premiership title and Scottish Cup, their issues with the board remain.

The group cited perceived shortcomings both on and off the pitch this season, renewing calls for changes at the executive level. By encouraging fans to wait until the absolute final deadline to renew, they hope to send a powerful message about the demand for ambition and change.

"With six league games left we all need to come together and get fully behind the team," the statement read, acknowledging the paramount importance of the title race. "However, that does not mean the wider issues at the club have gone away."

This calculated approach highlights a fanbase determined to champion its club on the field while advocating for its future off it, setting the stage for a pivotal period at Parkhead.
