Antonio Cassano has never been one to mince words, and his latest outburst is no exception. The former AC Milan and Italy striker launched a blistering critique of Massimiliano Allegri and Igli Tare, blaming the duo for what he sees as a disastrous season at San Siro. In the same breath, Cassano pointed to Antonio Conte as the perfect man to lead the Rossoneri's revival this summer.

Speaking on his Viva El Futbol show, Cassano didn't hold back. With Milan scrambling to secure Champions League qualification as the season winds down, the former star laid into the management. "Allegri this year has destroyed Milan," Cassano declared. "The blame, beyond Allegri who has been a disaster, also belongs to Tare, who arrived like the saviour of the nation. And you know what he saved? Nothing."

Cassano took particular issue with fans directing their frustration at club director Giorgio Furlani. "I saw the 'Furlani out' banner and I ask myself: if you have no ideas, if you play badly and get the transfer window wrong, what is Furlani's fault? Furlani does not pick the squad — the squad was chosen by the coach with Tare. Does Furlani miss the goals? No. Does he have no ideas? No."

Turning to the future, Cassano sees a clear solution. "Conte last year performed a miracle at Napoli, but after two years he does not stay at the same club. For me, he has to go. Where? To Milan. He would be the first coach to win four Scudetti with four different clubs. If Milan want to do things properly, Conte is perfect."

The comparison between the two coaches was sharp. "Unlike Allegri, Conte sells himself through the pitch and does not care about the press. He lets the football do the talking. Conte is one of the few coaches who, if he becomes available, can go wherever he wants. There are only three or four like him."

For Milan fans, the message is clear: the current path isn't working, and a proven winner like Conte could be the spark needed to reignite a sleeping giant. Whether the club's hierarchy listens remains to be seen, but Cassano has certainly added fuel to the fire ahead of a crucial summer transfer window.
