Casemiro has firmly shut down any speculation about a Manchester United U-turn, insisting he will leave the club "on top" when his contract expires this summer.

The 34-year-old Brazilian midfielder, whose current deal runs out at the end of the season, was initially expected to depart Old Trafford in February. But his impressive performances alongside rising star Kobbie Mainoo have sparked calls from fans for the club to reconsider.

Casemiro has been a key figure in United's recent resurgence under interim boss Michael Carrick, scoring nine goals in 33 Premier League appearances this season and playing a vital role in securing Champions League qualification. His teammate Matheus Cunha even hinted at a possible change of plans, saying: "I play with him in the national team and I know how important he is. Everyone hopes there's a little bit more."

But the veteran midfielder has put those hopes to rest. Speaking to ESPN, Casemiro made his intentions crystal clear: "I don't think there's a chance, there's no chance. I have to leave in good terms, I have to go out on top."

Reflecting on his time at the club, Casemiro added: "It was four beautiful, wonderful years and I am eternally grateful not only to the club, but to the fans. I will be an eternal United fan here in England."

With his future now decided, the Brazil international is attracting interest from clubs across the globe, including Saudi Arabia, the United States, Brazil, and Europe. Reports suggest he has already held talks with David Beckham's Inter Miami, where he could potentially link up with Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez.

For United fans, Casemiro's departure marks the end of an era—but the midfielder is determined to leave on his own terms, with his legacy firmly intact.
