The Arizona Cardinals have been busy this offseason—and that's putting it mildly. From a new head coach and nearly an entire staff overhaul to a flurry of roster moves, the desert is looking very different these days. General Manager Monti Ossenfort has been aggressive, adding a staggering 43 new players since the end of last season: 23 on offense, 16 on defense, and four specialists. With only 53 spots available on the main roster come game day, that kind of turnover means some familiar faces might be looking over their shoulders.
When you bring in that much new talent, jobs are inevitably on the line. Here are four Cardinals veterans who could find themselves on the hot seat as we look ahead to the 2026 NFL season.
Isaiah Adams, Guard
Adams was drafted in the third round with hopes of anchoring the offensive line, but his first real taste of NFL action left something to be desired. After a promising training camp, he struggled when the lights came on against first-team defenses. His Pro Football Focus grade of 56.7 wasn't what the front office had in mind. With Will Hernandez battling injuries and the team signing veteran Matt Pryor to a one-year deal, Adams will have to prove he can handle the pressure—or risk losing his starting spot at right guard.
