What do you get when you combine a clinical finish with a killer business pitch? A goal celebration that's pure gold.

Tomasz Skublak, the Canadian Premier League forward for Inter Toronto, scored a stunning half-volley in the 50th minute against Atlético Ottawa. But it wasn't just the goal that had everyone talking—it was what he did next. With the camera locked on him, Skublak pulled off his gloves, reached into his sock, and pulled out a business card. He flashed his digits to the broadcast, gesturing for potential clients to give him a call.

Why? Because when you're not scoring goals, you're selling homes. Skublak works full-time as a real estate agent in the greater Toronto area, a side hustle he took on while grinding to make it in professional soccer. "I'm playing here at Inter Toronto full-time as well as being a full-time real estate agent," he told the broadcast after the game. "So, I pulled out the business card, get some free advertising going, put my name out there. If anyone needs a house sold or bought, just reach out. More than happy to help – whether it's on the pitch or off the pitch, I tend to do the job right."

Skublak's journey to the CanPL has been anything but straightforward. After playing college soccer at the University of South Florida, the Ontario native returned to Canada and bounced around semi-pro clubs. He signed with the CanPL's HFX Wanderers in 2019, then chased top-division minutes in Armenia and Germany before returning to North America. This year, he finally landed a one-year deal with Inter Toronto, formerly known as York United FC.

The move has paid off. Skublak added a second goal in the win over Ottawa, and he's now tied as the club's top scorer with three goals in just four matches this season. Not bad for a guy who's also juggling open houses and closing deals.

In a sport where goal celebrations range from the iconic to the absurd, Skublak's business card stunt might just be the most practical—and memorable—move of the year. Talk about working both sides of the pitch.
