Cameron Young is making a strong case as the hottest player on the PGA Tour right now. Fresh off a tie for third at the Masters and a win at THE PLAYERS Championship, Young closed out a dominant six-shot victory at the Trump National Doral "Blue Monster" course. With President Donald Trump in attendance to watch his second win of the season, Young reflected on the unique experience.

When asked about the heightened security protocols that come with a presidential visit, Young shared a glimpse behind the scenes. "Once you get out there, you're doing your job, but everything leading up to that is different. The place is crawling with Secret Service, security, and police—it definitely has a different feel," he explained. "I tried to go down the side door we'd been using all week, and two guys just stepped together and said, 'We're not letting anyone through this way right now.' So I had to walk all the way around the clubhouse. Little things like that change the rhythm of the day, but with all the delays, it didn't matter too much."

Despite the logistical quirks, Young called it an "honor" to secure a victory with the President watching. "He's nothing if not a very interesting man—very powerful. It's an honor to play in front of him. I'm hugely grateful to him, his family, and his organization for these beautiful properties that let us play great golf tournaments. This is a special place and a championship course, and I'm thankful to have it back on the schedule."

With momentum on his side, Young now sets his sights on the PGA Championship at Aronimink, starting May 14, where he'll chase his first Major victory. For golf fans and apparel enthusiasts alike, Young's hot streak is one to watch—and maybe even inspire a new look on the course.
