Liam Rosenior was sacked by Chelsea yesterday. And whilst we all know it needed to happen, the players are clearly an issue too.

For me, the root of the problem at Chelsea Football Club has been the ownership and this naïve project they have put in place. It’s a weak squad build that misses key elements and quality, and they’ve handed the reigns to relatively inexperienced directors to run the recruitment. It’s failed, quite frankly.

It was them who hired Liam Rosenior, who should never have been hired in the first place, and it’s them who have signed all these players, some of them clearly still far too immature and disrespectful.

None of us have rated his time at Chelsea. It’s been awful. But there’s an element of respect that players should keep for a manager, and that involves not mocking him and calling him names behind his back.

As reported by The BBC last night, one Chelsea player gave Liam Rosenior the nickname “the supply teacher”.

Fans do this kind of stuff, not the players. And I’m sure they were all laughing about the sacking too. A lot of them need to go with their poor attitudes as well as Rosenior.

There are expected to be between five to ten candidates to become Chelsea’s next manager with there admiration for Cesc Fabregas according to reports that came out yesterday.

Liam Rosenior’s fallout with certain groups in the Chelsea dressing room was apparently key to his downfall, and it was apparently the Spanish speaking players who disliked him the most.
