Caleb Downs was selected as the 11th overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft on Thursday night, but he's not the first person in his family to make it to the NFL.
Both his father, Gary Downs, and uncle, Dre Bly, played in the league, and his older brother, Josh Downs, is currently a starting wide receiver with the Indianapolis Colts. And Caleb is practically salivating at the opportunity to line up against his brother in the league, and issued a stern warning to his sibling.
"He's like, we play the Cowboys this year. I was like, you're gonna have a problem," he said.

But that might not be as easy a task as Caleb thinks it may be. His older brother Josh is already proving to be a stellar NFL wideout, making 47 appearances and 28 starts over his first three seasons in the league, recording 2,140 yards and 11 touchdowns. But Caleb is also a three-time All-American, so he's clearly no slouch.
So when the Cowboys and the Colts do finally square off, you could witness Downs vs. Downs – but who will come out on top is still undetermined. Though it's clear Caleb thinks it will be the younger brother who triumphs in that match-up.
