The Fever star discussed her new accessory.

Caitlin Clark is setting the record straight about her new on-court look. The Indiana Fever superstar, who turned heads during Monday's shooting drills with a compression sleeve on her left leg, addressed the accessory head-on during her Tuesday media availability.

Given Clark's injury history—she missed 31 of 44 regular season games plus the entire postseason in 2025—fans were quick to speculate. The timing seemed especially suspicious after a hard fall during a preseason loss to the Dallas Wings. But Clark, ever the competitor, wasn't having any of it.

"Just a little compression on the leg, I don't know," Clark said with a smile, backing up head coach Stephanie White's earlier statement that the sleeve was purely "personal preference."

The 2024 Rookie of the Year played in all three preseason games for the Fever, who went 2-1. With the regular season opener just days away—Indiana hosts Paige Bueckers, Azzi Fudd, and the Wings at Gainbridge Fieldhouse on Saturday—Clark appears ready to roll. Whether the sleeve becomes a permanent fixture in her game-day wardrobe remains to be seen, but for now, Fever fans can breathe easy: their star is healthy and, as always, focused on the game.
