Following the game, Clark reunited with her former Iowa Hawkeyes teammate Kate Martin, sharing a warm embrace on the court. The two best friends, whose bond has remained unbreakable since their college days, exchanged a few words before parting ways. WNBA cameras caught Martin telling Clark, "Bye Cait, I love you"—a simple yet powerful reminder of the friendships that make this league so special.

Clark was instrumental in the Fever's bounce-back effort after a tough season-opening loss to the Dallas Wings. She finished with 24 points, nine assists, four rebounds, two steals, and one block, shooting an efficient 9-for-17 from the field.
