As Caitlin Clark prepares to tip off her third WNBA season with the Indiana Fever, her focus has never been sharper. The former Iowa superstar has already transformed the league's landscape—her global appeal helped drive record growth as the WNBA celebrates its 30th anniversary, and her influence was instrumental in securing a new collective bargaining agreement that will quadruple the average player salary starting in 2025.
Off the court, Clark's star power is undeniable. While her on-court earnings were around $119,000 last season, she ranked sixth on Sportico's list of the highest-paid female athletes in 2025, pulling in nearly $16 million from endorsement deals with powerhouse brands like Nike, Gatorade, and State Farm. She recently extended her partnership with Xfinity as a brand ambassador, solidifying her role in the company's basketball strategy across both the WNBA and NBA.
But for all her commercial success and marketability, Clark's hunger remains purely competitive. After an injury-plagued 2025 season saw the Fever fall just short of a WNBA Finals appearance, she's laser-focused on one thing: bringing a championship to Indianapolis.
"One of the most important things somebody ever said to me is you've reached this point, but as you continue to grow, the thing you have to do is be able to win," Clark shared. "I feel like that's the point I'm kind of at now. You have to be able to win. That's my main focus, winning and winning a championship. Everything else will come along with that."
With the 2026 season underway, Clark and the Fever face a must-watch opening matchup against Paige Bueckers, Azzi Fudd, and the Dallas Wings—a game that sets the stage for what could be a defining year in her already historic career.
