The PGA Tour will make its long-awaited return to the Blue Monster Course at Trump National Doral in Miami, Florida, for the 2026 Cadillac Championship, a signature event.
Doral hosted a PGA Tour event annually from 1962 to 2016, typically in late February or early March. It became fashionable to say that the Tour season doesn’t begin until Doral and the famed Blue Monster finishing hole.
The Cadillac Championship is a new event on the Tour, offering 700 FedEx points to the winner and a purse of $20 million with no cut. The field includes world No. 1 Scottie Scheffler, reigning FedEx Cup champion Tommy Fleetwood and Adam Scott, who won the 2016 WGC Cadillac Championship, the last time the Tour held an event at Doral. There's one notable omission from the field, though, and that's Masters champion Rory McIlroy.
