Borussia Dortmund have locked in one of their brightest young stars, extending Samuele Inacio's contract through 2029. The 19-year-old midfielder has been turning heads since joining the club, and the BVB brass are clearly all-in on his future.

"Samu is one of the greatest talents of his age group worldwide," said sporting director Lars Ricken. "His skills and potential are undeniable. We believe that with his dedication and quality, he can develop into an exceptional player. He's a key part of our team's growth, and we're thrilled to secure him long-term."

Inacio's journey through the Dortmund system is a testament to his versatility. He's climbed the ranks from U17 to U19, U23, and finally the first team, racking up 65 appearances in the Black & Yellow jersey with 14 goals and 11 assists. This season was a breakout: he made his Bundesliga debut on February 28 against Bayern Munich and scored his first top-flight goal on Matchday 33, a crucial strike in a 3-2 home win over Eintracht Frankfurt.

Ole Book, BVB's sporting director, highlighted what makes Inacio special. "Samu brings so much to the table—he's intelligent on the pitch, secure on the ball, and a strong combination player. His sense of space makes him a real goal threat. Combine that with his hard work and willingness to improve, and you've got a player who's already made big strides and has even bigger steps ahead."

For Inacio, the extension is a dream come true. "I feel very comfortable at BVB and am proud to have made my Bundesliga debut with this great club. The feeling of scoring my first goal in front of the Yellow Wall was incredible. I want to celebrate many more successful moments with my team, the club, and its amazing fans."

With his contract now secured, Inacio is poised to become a cornerstone of Dortmund's future—a player whose journey from the academy to the first team is already inspiring fans and teammates alike.
