The 2025/26 Bundesliga season came to a thrilling conclusion, and Bayern Munich once again stole the headlines with a dominant performance that showcased their relentless attacking power.

The Bavarian giants smashed an incredible 122 league goals this campaign, capping it off with a 5-1 victory at home to FC Köln. Harry Kane was the star of the show, netting a hat-trick that brought his league tally to 36 goals in just 31 appearances. Across all competitions, the England captain has been a revelation, scoring 58 goals in 50 games for Bayern this season—and with the cup final still to come next week, he's not done yet.

While Bayern had already wrapped up the title, the race for European spots went down to the wire. Stuttgart secured their place in the Champions League alongside champions Bayern, Borussia Dortmund, and RB Leipzig, thanks to a hard-fought 2-2 draw away to Eintracht Frankfurt. Hoffenheim, however, missed their chance to break into the top four after a crushing 4-0 defeat at Borussia Mönchengladbach, settling instead for a Europa League spot. Bayer Leverkusen will compete in the Conference League next season.

At the other end of the table, the relegation battle was just as intense. St. Pauli faced a do-or-die match against Wolfsburg, with the loser heading straight to the 2. Bundesliga. Dieter Hecking's Wolfsburg delivered when it mattered most, winning 3-1 in Hamburg and sending the home side down alongside Heidenheim. Wolfsburg will now await their opponent for the promotion/relegation play-off, which will be decided when the 2. Bundesliga season wraps up tomorrow.
