The Milwaukee Bucks have officially announced Taylor Jenkins as their new head coach, and they're rolling out the red carpet for his introduction—fans are invited to attend the news conference at the Milwaukee Art Museum on May 6.

After weeks of speculation, the Bucks made it official on April 30, confirming that Jenkins, formerly of the Memphis Grizzlies, will take the helm. The public is welcome to join the 2 p.m. press conference at the lakefront venue, space permitting. It's a fittingly splashy start for a crucial offseason, with the team's future—and Giannis Antetokounmpo's commitment—hanging in the balance.

"Taylor is an innovative and driven coach who embodies the culture of winning and hard work," said Bucks general manager Jon Horst. "His basketball intellect, comprehensive experience, and leadership ability have played a key role in building successful teams throughout his career. He's the right fit to take our team to the next level."

Jenkins brings impressive credentials from his six-year tenure with the Grizzlies, where he posted a 250-214 record (.539), led the team to four playoff appearances, and set a franchise single-season wins record with 56 in 2021-22. Before that, he served as an assistant coach under Mike Budenholzer during the Bucks' 60-win 2018-19 season, which ended in the Eastern Conference Finals and marked the franchise's first playoff series victories since 2001.
