The Cleveland Browns have traded up to make another second round pick after trading up with the San Francisco 49ers. The Browns have selected Toledo safety Emmanuel McNeil-Warren.

Addressing the defensive side of the football after three picks on the offensive side of the ball to start the NFL Draft, the Browns land a player that fell down the board for no apparent reason. The Browns then came up the board to nab the local kid and address a position of need.

With both Grant Delpit and Ronnie Hickman Jr. on one-year deals, the Browns needed to address the position. They did that here.

To move up to the 58th overall pick to land McNeil-Warren, the Browns only gave up pick No. 70 and pick No. 107, and they got back from the Niners pick No. 152 as well.

This means the Browns have been able to keep the same number of bites at the apple. This means they could be more aggressive throughout the draft as well. For now, however, the Browns land a safety who was 24th on the consensus board.
