The Cleveland Browns have been busy this offseason, and their roster is looking stronger than ever as they gear up for their next round of OTAs. General Manager Andrew Berry has made a massive investment in the offensive line, starting with a trade for tackle Tytus Howard, followed by free-agent signings of guards Zion Johnson and Teven Jenkins, along with versatile interior lineman Elgton Jenkins. The 2026 NFL draft was the cherry on top, bringing in three more linemen, including Spencer Fano.
But all that depth comes with tough decisions. With the new additions and a contract restructure, tackle Dawand Jones could be on the trade block. And he's not the only veteran whose future is in question. According to Zak Jackson of The Athletic, the arrival of rookie wide receivers KC Concepcion and Denzel Boston might spell the end of Cedric Tillman's time in Cleveland.
"Boston and Tillman are true outside receivers, and it becomes fair to wonder if the Browns eventually look to trade Tillman this summer," Jackson noted.
It's a numbers game. The Browns have invested heavily in their two rookie receivers and Jerry Jeudy, while free-agent addition Tylan Wallace brings special teams value—something Tillman has done only sparingly. With the receiver room getting crowded, Tillman could become expendable.
The Browns already hold 10 picks in next year's draft, which is expected to be "loaded." While Jones and Tillman might not fetch blockbuster returns, any extra assets in a strong draft class could give Berry the flexibility to make creative moves during the season and next offseason.
So, what's the play? Do you trade Tillman or Jones now to maximize value, or let them compete through training camp as injury insurance? And what kind of draft pick do you think these young veterans could command?
