After nine standout seasons with the Indianapolis Colts, Moore hit the open market when contract extension talks stalled. The two sides attempted to find a trade partner, but when no deal materialized, Moore was granted his release. Now, the 31-year-old veteran is free to sign with any team, and the Browns should be first in line.

Moore isn't just any nickel corner—he's been among the top three at his position over the past five seasons. With 21 career interceptions, he has a knack for forcing turnovers and making game-changing plays. He's also a reliable run defender, stepping up to make tackles when needed. Age may be a factor, but his production speaks for itself.

The Browns' secondary already boasts talent, including safety Emmanuel McNeil-Warren, but they lack a proven, starting-caliber nickel corner. Currently, 2024 seventh-round pick Myles Harden is penciled into that role—a major question mark for a team with championship aspirations.
