The Denver Broncos made two trades during the 2026 NFL draft, and they sent picks to the Miami Dolphins last month to acquire wide receiver Jaylen Waddle.
Notably, the Broncos did not trade away any picks in the 2027 draft in those three trades. That's probably not a coincidence because Denver believes next year's draft will be a deep class.
The Broncos still have all of their original seven picks for 2027, and they hold an extra seventh-round pick from the 2025 Devaughn Vele trade with the New Orleans Saints.
Denver is also expected to receive a fourth-round compensatory pick for losing John Franklin-Myers during free agency last month, and OverTheCap.com also estimates a seventh-round comp pick for losing safety P.J. Locke.
That gives the team ten projected picks in next year's draft.
The 2027 NFL draft will be held in Washington, D.C., next April.
