Brighton & Hove Albion are wasting no time in their search for attacking reinforcements after failing to land top target Said El Mala. The Premier League side's pursuit of the 1. FC Köln star hit a dead end when the Bundesliga club refused to budge from their €50 million valuation, well above Brighton's €35 million offer.
Now, according to Sport Bild, the Seagulls have turned their attention to Hoffenheim's exciting young winger Bazoumana Touré. The 20-year-old has been making waves in Germany since his €10 million move from Swedish side Hammarby IF in February 2025, and Brighton have already made an official enquiry for the player.
Touré could prove to be a more attainable target, with reports suggesting Hoffenheim would entertain offers in the region of €40 million. That's a significant mark-up from what they paid just months ago, but the Ivorian's rapid development has clearly caught the eye of Europe's elite—Liverpool are also among the clubs monitoring his progress.
In 44 appearances for Hoffenheim, Touré has contributed five goals and 15 assists, showcasing the creative spark that Brighton desperately need after losing key attacking options in recent windows. For a club known for its savvy recruitment, landing a player of Touré's potential at this stage could be another masterstroke—especially if he can replicate that form in the Premier League.
