After the success of an alumni home-run derby last year, the Brewers are planning a postgame alumni legends game in July.

The Milwaukee Brewers are bringing back the nostalgia in a big way this July, and fans won't want to miss it. Following the success of last year's alumni home-run derby—a fan-favorite event that saw Keon Broxton take home the crown—the Brew Crew is stepping up to the plate with an all-new Alumni Legends Game.

Scheduled for July 24, immediately after the Brewers take on the Colorado Rockies, the postgame exhibition promises to be a highlight of the season. The confirmed lineup of returning legends reads like a who's who of recent Brewers history: Ryan Braun, Geoff Jenkins, Ben Sheets, Yovani Gallardo, and Mike Moustakas are all expected to lace up their cleats. The team's official promotional graphic also hints at appearances from Jeremy Jeffress and Jonathan Lucroy.

This event is part of the team's year-long celebration of American Family Field's 25th anniversary, and the perks are just as exciting as the roster. Fans can enjoy $2.50 draft beers and $2.50 brats until the first pitch, along with alumni photo opportunities and a 25% discount on merchandise at Brewers team stores. For those looking to go all-in, the special 25th anniversary theme night ticket package includes a limited-edition Legends Game bowling shirt and exclusive photo opportunities around the ballpark.

The celebration comes almost exactly one year after the team's wildly popular alumni home-run derby, proving that Brewers fans love seeing their heroes back in action. And the alumni love doesn't stop there. Mark your calendars for May 8, when Hall of Famer CC Sabathia will be on hand as the Brewers open a homestand against the New York Yankees. Sabathia, who famously led Milwaukee to its first playoff appearance in 26 years during his electric half-season in 2008, will be inducted into the Brewers Wall of Honor alongside the late Dave Parker—a nod to their recent Hall of Fame inductions. Sabathia will also throw out the ceremonial first pitch as part of the pregame festivities.

Whether you're a die-hard fan or just love a good ballpark experience, the Brewers are making this summer one for the history books. Grab your gear, get your tickets, and get ready to cheer on the legends one more time.
