Northwestern men's basketball is heating up the transfer portal, securing its second major commitment of the day. Northeastern transfer guard LA Pratt announced via social media that he is taking his talents to Evanston.

This is a significant pickup for the Wildcats. Pratt, a 6-foot-5 guard from Columbus, Ohio, brings valuable experience and two-way potential. He served as Northeastern's starting point guard in the 2024-25 season, averaging 11.2 points per game and notching five 20+ point performances, showcasing his scoring ability.

His last season was unfortunately cut short by a broken foot after a spectacular opening-game career-high of 26 points. The good news for Northwestern fans is that Pratt is expected to be fully healthy and ready to contribute for the upcoming campaign.
