Former Syracuse forward Jasmine Cooper has announced her commitment to Northwestern, per her X and Instagram.

The 6-foot-1 Massachusetts native becomes the third player and first forward in this season’s transfer class for NU and follows teammate Camdyn Nelson to Evanston. Cooper played in 24 of 33 games last season for the Orange, averaging 3.3 points and 2.1 rebounds in 10.8 minutes per game on 53.7% shooting from the field.

With Tayla Thomas, DaiJa Turner and Grace Sullivan departing the team this offseason, Cooper can very easily find herself in a major role this upcoming season. She brings NCAA Tournament experience to Northwestern, as Syracuse reached the Round of 32 in March Madness this past season.
