Cameron Young is going to be one of the favourites to win the PGA Championship at Aronimink this week, with the American in superb form in recent months. It would be no surprise to see Young win a major before too long.

As the PGA Championship tees off at Aronimink this week, all eyes are on Cameron Young—and for good reason. The 29-year-old American has been on an absolute tear, and it wouldn't surprise anyone if he walks away with his first major title sooner rather than later.

Young's recent form has been nothing short of spectacular. His victory at the Wyndham Championship, combined with a standout Ryder Cup debut last year, has clearly taken his game to new heights. But what's really turning heads is how he's been winning. At The Players Championship, he showed ice-cold composure to edge out Matt Fitzpatrick at TPC Sawgrass. Then, at the Cadillac Championship, he blew the field away early at Doral and never looked back. Two completely different styles of victory, both equally impressive.

During a recent broadcast, golf analyst Brandel Chamblee drew a striking comparison between Young and two of the greatest players in history: Jack Nicklaus and Tiger Woods. "When I look at Cameron Young, there is a bigness to his game," Chamblee said. "I would argue Jon Rahm does have weaknesses in his game. I would argue Bryson DeChambeau does have weaknesses in his game. Mind you, they're both brilliant players, but when I look at a Cameron Young, I couldn't find those equivalent weaknesses."

Chamblee went on to break down Young's arsenal. "He's got, obviously, the length off the tee. He drives as straight and as long as anybody I've seen in the game of golf. By the way, we are unbelievably blessed over the last 10 or 15 years of long and straight drivers of the golf ball, and certainly Jon Rahm and Bryson DeChambeau are that. He's massively improved his approach play game, fantastic putter."

But for Chamblee, it's the mental side that truly sets Young apart. "And as we all found out when he came up on the set at The Players Championship and in subsequent interviews, he's got that stuff between his ears, that calmness, that clarity, that constitution that very few players have been gifted with. Nicklaus certainly had it, Tiger had it, but that calm in the middle of the storm is more rare than the talent that he puts on display."

With a major record that's already impressive at this stage of his career, Young is proving he's not just a flash in the pan—he's a force to be reckoned with. Whether you're a fan of the game or just love seeing greatness in the making, this is a player worth watching. And if you're looking to channel that same confidence on the course, there's no better time to gear up with the best in golf apparel.
