Frederik Andersen made 15 saves for Carolina, which has not lost in eight playoff games.

In a thrilling overtime finish, Jackson Blake scored his second goal of the game at 5:28 of the extra period, leading the Carolina Hurricanes to a 3-2 victory over the Philadelphia Flyers and completing a four-game sweep. The win propels the Hurricanes into the Eastern Conference finals for the second consecutive season, marking their third appearance in the last four years.

Frederik Andersen was solid in net for Carolina, making 15 saves as the team extended its playoff win streak to eight games—the NHL's first 8-0 start since 1985. The Hurricanes are now the 24th team in league history to win eight or more consecutive playoff games, and history is on their side: 18 of those previous teams went on to win the Stanley Cup.

Logan Stankoven also scored in regulation for Carolina, while Alex Bump and Tyson Foerster found the net for the Flyers. Taylor Hall and Jaccob Slavin provided assists on the game-winning goal in overtime.

The Flyers struggled offensively throughout the series, managing just five goals over four games. Bump tied the game at 2-2 with 5:52 left in the third period, answering Stankoven's tally that came just 4:13 into the final frame. Stankoven's goal was a beauty, finishing a cross-ice pass from Hall with a one-timer from outside the crease.

Earlier, Blake tied the game at 1-1 late in the second period with a wrist shot that deflected off Flyers defenseman Jamie Drysdale. Carolina thought it had taken the lead moments later, but the goal was overturned after a successful challenge by Philadelphia coach Rick Tocchet due to goaltender interference.

The Hurricanes now await the winner of the Buffalo-Montreal series in the Eastern Conference finals, with their eyes set on capturing their first Stanley Cup since 2006. For a team that's been knocking on the door for years, this historic run has the makings of something special.
