The Buffalo Bills finally addressed their receiver problem this offseason by trading for DJ Moore from the Chicago Bears.

Now Josh Allen has a No. 1 receiver to add to his arsenal of weapons that includes Khalil Shakir, Keon Coleman, Tyrell Shavers, and Joshua Palmer.

But while some think Moore will be a great addition, he'll only be so if he and Allen can get on the same page on the field, which is why the offseason program is so crucial.

And according to Allen, things are already off to a good start.

"He's a team first guy, very talented, getting to work with him and our lockers are right next to each other, so getting just to talk with him and again he's got kids. I've got a kid now, and it's like very easy conversations to have," Allen said.

"But just to continue to grow that relationship, build the trust on the field, what we're doing right now, hopefully, we plan on making some hay and paying dividends come season time."

While it might be putting too much pressure on a player in his first year with a team, I get the sense that Moore is going to have to be Allen's best offensive weapon, along with James Cook.

Moore has to be the difference-maker on offense, something the Bills haven't had in years. Yes, the offense will still have a heavy dose of Cook, but in the passing game, Moore has to be "the" guy for Allen.

We know the "everybody eats" mantra from Joe Brady, but Moore has to be feasting more than most, so he can help propel this team not only into the playoffs but into a Super Bowl in 2026.

And that starts with the offseason program and developing chemistry with Allen. Which, it appears, is already off to a good start.
