A mash-up of politics and professional football occurred in Texas when a former president crashed a Dallas Cowboys news conference.
ESPN NFL Reporter Jeff Darlington captured on Wednesday afternoon, April 22, the moment on social media where former President Bill Clinton interrupted a press conference at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, to shake hands and say hi to Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones.
In the video, Clinton can be heard joking that he was there to "negotiate a draft" while Jones walked to greet the president. However, Jones stumbled but steadied himself as he tried to shake the president's hand.

After greeting Clinton, Jones praised the president to the reporter.
"He's been a wonderful — not only president — but a friend over the years," Jones said. "This unquestionably will be the largest press conference going on in the NFL today."
It was not made clear why the 42nd U.S. President stopped by the stadium in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
