Weather has moved the first pitch of this Top 10 tourney final up to Noon CST. So make that brunch & buckle up.

The Big Ten Tournament final is here, and we've got a major scheduling update: due to incoming weather, first pitch has been moved up to 12:00 PM CST (1 PM ET). So adjust your brunch plans and get ready for an early showdown between two Top 10 powerhouses.

This is no ordinary conference final. #2 Nebraska and #6 UCLA are both headed to the NCAA Tournament next weekend, but a championship trophy is still a prize worth chasing. The Huskers already claimed the regular season crown and are looking for the double. The Bruins, meanwhile, are hungry after falling short in last year's final.

These two squads met back in late March in Lincoln, where Nebraska took two of three in a windy series. This time around, conditions in College Park should be calmer, with winds expected at just 5-10 mph—so expect a cleaner, more controlled game.

On the mound, all eyes are on the starting pitchers. Nebraska's Jordy Frahm got a much-needed rest yesterday while Alexis Jensen delivered a stellar performance on the big stage. That's a huge advantage for the Huskers—Frahm will be fresh and ready. For UCLA, Taylor Tinsley has thrown 11 of the Bruins' 12 tournament innings so far, and she was even left in after a 10-2 lead. Why? Because the rest of UCLA's bullpen has struggled mightily, with a combined ERA of 6.29 and a WHIP over 2.0. Expect Tinsley to pitch until she can't anymore—as long as the game is close, she's staying in.

Nebraska has more flexibility. If Frahm runs into trouble, they can turn back to Jensen, who proved yesterday she can handle the pressure. Though, fair warning: if coaches try to pull Frahm mid-inning, history suggests things could get interesting (see: the 2025 Iowa game).

Tinsley can give the Huskers fits—she's that good. But Nebraska got to her in Lincoln, and with a rested ace and a deep bullpen, they have the edge on paper. Still, in a tournament final between two Top 10 teams, expect fireworks from the first pitch.

Game time: 12:00 PM CST on Big Ten Network. Grab your gear, settle in, and enjoy the show.
