Benjamin Sesko is proving to be one of the standout success stories at Manchester United this season, and it's not just his goal-scoring that's turning heads. The 22-year-old Slovenian striker, who joined the Red Devils at the start of the season to solve their attacking struggles, has recently shown a heartwarming side off the pitch that reminds us why he's becoming a fan favorite.

Sesko arrived at Old Trafford with a growing reputation after his impressive rise at RB Leipzig, beating out several top European clubs for his signature. United needed a boost in the final third after managing just 44 goals in 38 Premier League games last season, and Sesko was seen as the answer. However, his start under former head coach Ruben Amorim was rocky, with only two goals in 17 appearances as the team struggled for results. Amorim was let go at the turn of the year, and that proved to be the turning point for Sesko.

Since then, the young forward has been on fire. He scored three goals in two games under interim manager Darren Fletcher and has continued to impress under caretaker boss Michael Carrick, notching seven goals in 13 games. With 10 goals in 16 matches in 2026, Sesko is now one of the most in-form strikers in the Premier League, helping United climb to third in the table. Last Sunday, he scored in a crucial 3-2 win over Liverpool that secured Champions League qualification, though he picked up an injury and had to be substituted at halftime.

While his availability for the upcoming match against Sunderland is uncertain, a recent story has revealed a different kind of class from the young star. Sesko, who spent part of his youth at his hometown club NK Radece, has made a significant donation to their academy. The Slovenian club shared the news on social media, calling it a "generous gesture" for their young players. It's a reminder that even as Sesko rises to stardom on the pitch, he hasn't forgotten where he came from—a quality that makes him a true role model both in the game and in the community.
