The Cincinnati Bengals may not have topped the NFL draft grade charts, but that doesn't mean they came up short—especially when it comes to potential steals that could reshape their roster.
According to CBS Sports' Ryan Wilson, the Bengals' 2025 draft class landed at 19th overall in his rankings. While that might not scream "home run," the Bengals are likely unfazed. After all, they turned the 10th overall pick into a blockbuster trade for Dexter Lawrence, one of the league's premier nose tackles—a move that instantly fortifies their defensive line.
But the real buzz surrounds their seventh-round gem. Wilson highlighted tight end Jack Endries as a standout value pick, calling him his TE3 in the draft class despite being the 19th tight end selected. "He's a dependable, old-school inline TE with strong hands and high-effort blocking," Wilson wrote. "He served as a reliable security blanket in the short-to-intermediate passing game at Purdue and then Texas."
For a Bengals team navigating injury concerns at tight end—particularly with Erick All's availability for summer workouts—Endries brings a much-needed all-around presence. His ability to both block and catch could make him a sneaky weapon in the passing game.
If this draft class delivers a playoff push, a dominant nose tackle, and a seventh-round steal, Cincinnati fans won't lose sleep over a mid-pack grade. Sometimes, the best drafts aren't the loudest—they're the ones that quietly build a contender.
