The Cincinnati Bengals are heading to Spain! The team has officially announced they'll face the Atlanta Falcons in Madrid as part of the NFL's 2026 International Games.
Mark your calendars for Sunday, November 8, when these two teams clash at the iconic Bernabéu Stadium. The game kicks off at 9:30 AM ET and will be broadcast on NFL Network. Ticket details will be released on the NFL's official website at a later date.
This marks just the third international game in Bengals history, following trips to London in 2016 and 2019 (where they went 0-1-1). But this time, the stakes feel different—and the excitement is palpable.
Joe Burrow has been vocal about wanting to play abroad for years, and now the star quarterback gets his wish. He sees this as more than just a game; it's a chance to grow the sport globally, much like Michael Jordan's Chicago Bulls did for basketball in the 1990s.
"The game has a lot of room to grow. Just like basketball did in the '80s and '90s," Burrow told Bengals.com. "The Bulls kind of spearheaded that. Made it global, and hopefully the Bengals can do the same thing over the next couple of years for the NFL."
Head coach Zac Taylor echoed that sentiment, emphasizing the opportunity to expand the Bengals brand on a world stage. "It's an unbelievable opportunity to grow the game internationally. That's an important part of what we do," Taylor said. "I think it's awesome the brand of the Bengals gets extended internationally. We've got a lot of great players on the team that the world will get to watch on center stage."
Elizabeth Blackburn, the Bengals' Director of Strategy and Engagement, added: "We are excited to take the Bengals abroad again and build upon the incredible support of our global fanbase. This Madrid game is a special opportunity to showcase the passion, energy, and community that define the Bengals' fandom worldwide."
For Bengals fans, this is more than a road game—it's a chance to make a statement. With Burrow at the helm and a roster full of playmakers, Cincinnati is ready to show the world what Who Dey really means. ¡Olé!
