The Bears have announced the jersey numbers for their offseason additions.

The Chicago Bears have officially unveiled the jersey numbers for their 2026 offseason acquisitions, giving fans a first look at how the new roster will appear on the field this fall. The announcement, made via social media, covers a mix of free-agent signings, a trade addition, and a few familiar faces sporting new digits.

Headlining the list is safety Coby Bryant, the team's marquee free-agent addition. After a standout year with the Seahawks where he notched four interceptions, Bryant will don No. 2 for the Bears. This number was last worn by star receiver DJ Moore, who was traded to Buffalo this offseason. Interestingly, Bryant wore No. 8 in Seattle as a tribute to the late Kobe Bryant, his namesake. With kicker Cairo Santos currently holding No. 8 in Chicago, Bryant opted for a fresh start with a single digit.

The update also includes two players who were already on the roster switching numbers. Wide receiver Jahdae Walker, an undrafted rookie who showed promise last season, is moving from No. 20 to a new number. Linebacker Nephi Sewell, who joined the practice squad in January and is the older brother of Bears linebacker Noah Sewell, is also changing from No. 96.

In a welcome-back move, linebacker Jack Sanborn returns to Chicago after a year with the Dallas Cowboys and will reclaim his old No. 57. His return to the familiar number adds a touch of continuity to the defensive unit. As the Bears continue to shape their identity for the upcoming season, these new jersey numbers mark the first step in seeing the revamped squad come together.
