Bayern Munich will negotiate with Harry Kane over a new contract at the end of the current season.
The England captain's current deal expires at the end of next season but Bayern want to keep hold of their star striker.
"Getting Harry Kane to Munich was an important coup in the history of the club," Bayern board Karl-Heinz Rummenigge said about the 32-year-old.
"It is known that he had a release clause. He didn't trigger that and signalled that he would definitely stay in Munich. And, as agreed, now those responsible in the operational area will hold talks with him at some stage after the season."
Kane has been in incredible goalscoring form since making his move from Tottenham Hotspur to the Bundesliga in the summer of 2023.
In total, Kane has played 141 games for Bayern since his arrival scoring 138 games. This season he's well above a goal-a-game ratio, scoring 53 times in just 45 fixtures.
Rummenigge also underlined that Bayern had no intention of selling Michael Olise despite interest from Liverpool and other clubs stating that there's 'no price tag that would make us bat an eyelid.'
