While he notched an impressive 13 goals across all competitions last season, his form has dipped this term with just five goals to his name.

According to Christian Falk of CFBayern Insider, the Bundesliga champions are not actively pursuing De Ketelaere. "It is true: Bayern Munich are not pursuing Charles De Ketelaere this summer," Falk confirmed. "They are aware of the Belgian, and he's within the wider focus of the club. However, it's not anything like it's being reported in Italy, in terms of there also being negotiations taking place. There are no negotiations with De Ketelaere at this point in time."

Instead, Bayern have shifted their attention to the Premier League, where they're looking to replicate last summer's successful raid that brought Luis Diaz to the club. Their top target? Newcastle United's Anthony Gordon. The England international fits the profile manager Vincent Kompany is looking for, and the club has already tabled a five-year contract offer.
