FC Bayern is plotting it’s strategy for the summer.

Bayern Munich is gearing up for a pivotal summer, and a major meeting today at Säbener Straße will set the tone. The agenda? Transfer targets, squad depth, and the future of key executives. At the heart of the discussion is Newcastle United's dynamic winger, Anthony Gordon—a player who could transform Bayern's attack but comes with a hefty price tag.

According to Sport Bild's Christian Falk, Bayern has already offered Gordon a five-year contract, pending a transfer fee agreement with Newcastle. In Germany, deals are capped at five years, unlike the Premier League, so Bayern is looking to spread the cost over the long term to secure the Englishman's services. The agent was recently in Munich, and talks are progressing. All eyes are now on Monday's supervisory board conference, where sporting director Max Eberl will present his summer blueprint.

Gordon is reportedly at the top of Bayern's wishlist for an offensive reinforcement. The club recognizes a clear need for another forward after struggling with depth this season. "PSG had Bradley Barcola on the bench; Bayern didn't have that same quality to call upon," Falk noted. With Lennart Karl still recovering and young talent Nicolas Jackson not meeting Bayern's standards, the squad lacks a proven game-changer. Gordon's pace, creativity, and versatility could be the missing piece.

However, the £80 million price tag is a sticking point. "A few weeks ago, I'd have said a deal this big isn't possible," Falk admitted. "But now, the supervisory board sees the urgency." The question remains: will Bayern go all-in for Gordon, or will financial constraints force them to pivot? One thing is clear—summer in Munich is shaping up to be a blockbuster.
