Bayern Munich narrowly avoided a shocking defeat against Bundesliga basement dwellers Heidenheim, snatching a dramatic 2-2 draw with a goal in the 55th minute. The Bavarian giants, already crowned Bundesliga champions, found themselves in an unexpected hole after a lackluster first half.

Heidenheim, fighting to stay afloat at the bottom of the table, stunned the Allianz Arena with two first-half goals from Budu Zivzivadze and Eren Dinkçi, putting Bayern on the back foot. However, Leon Goretzka sparked a comeback just before halftime, curling in a free-kick to cut the deficit to 2-1.

After the break, Bayern manager Thomas Tuchel turned to his star-studded bench, bringing on Joshua Kimmich, Luis Díaz, Michael Olise, and Harry Kane to pile on the pressure. Goretzka struck again to level the score, but Heidenheim refused to back down. Zivzivadze unleashed a stunning strike to restore their lead, making it 3-2 and leaving Bayern scrambling.

With the match extended by 10 minutes of added time due to a lengthy medical stoppage, it was Olise who came to the rescue, netting the equalizer in the 55th minute to save Bayern from an embarrassing defeat. While the result doesn't hurt their title celebrations, it dashes their hopes of breaking the all-time Bundesliga points record of 91, set by Bayern themselves in the 2012/13 season.

The draw comes just days before a massive Champions League semifinal clash against Paris Saint-Germain, where Bayern must overturn a 5-4 deficit from the first leg. This slip-up serves as a wake-up call as they prepare for European glory.

Elsewhere in the Bundesliga, Hoffenheim and Stuttgart played out a thrilling 3-3 draw in a crucial battle for a Champions League spot. Andrej Kramaric scored twice for Hoffenheim, with Bazoumana Touré adding another, while Stuttgart fought back through goals from Chris Führich, Ermedin Demirovic, and Tiago Tomás. Both teams now sit on 58 points, with Stuttgart holding the edge on tiebreakers.

In another match, Union Berlin rallied from a 2-0 deficit against Cologne to secure a 2-2 draw at home. Coach Marie-Louise Eta remains winless in charge, but the point provides some relief for the club as they look to climb the table.
