Bayern Munich closed out their Bundesliga season in style, celebrating a remarkable campaign with a dominant 5-1 victory over Köln at the Allianz Arena. The win capped off an incredible season for Vincent Kompany's side, who finished with an astonishing 89 points and 122 goals in just 34 games—a testament to their relentless attacking prowess.

The match briefly threatened to be a closer contest. Rene Wagner's Köln side managed to limit the damage in the first half, with Bayern holding only a 3-1 lead at the break. Köln were far from out of the game, but Harry Kane had other plans. In the 69th minute, the English striker unleashed a stunning strike from range, beating a diving Marvin Schwäbe to seal the three points and put the result beyond doubt. Substitute Nicolas Jackson added further gloss to the scoreline late on, making it 5-1.

Bayern wasted no time setting the tone. Just minutes in, Joshua Kimmich picked out Kane in the box, and the prolific forward volleyed home to make it 1-0. Three minutes later, Kimmich rolled a free kick forward, and Kane tucked it into the bottom corner for his second of the night, putting the Bavarians firmly in control.

But Köln showed resilience. In the 18th minute, Said El Mala dispossessed Jamal Musiala in his own half and embarked on an incredible solo run, calmly slotting past Manuel Neuer to pull one back and make it 2-1.

Bayern responded swiftly. Just four minutes later, Lennart Karl played a smart one-two with Konrad Laimer, and his low cross found Tom Bischof at the edge of the area. The 20-year-old powered the ball past Schwäbe for his third goal of the season, restoring Bayern's two-goal cushion at 3-1.

The hosts nearly added a fourth before halftime. Luis Díaz danced past several Köln defenders, but his low cross found Karl, who fired well over the bar. Díaz himself missed a golden chance in the 43rd minute when Schwäbe denied him on a 1v1 opportunity.

Bayern had one last chance to score before the break. Leon Goretzka, playing his final Bundesliga game for the club, slid in to win possession and set up Musiala. The young midfielder's shot rattled the post, and a scramble near the goal line allowed Schwäbe to collect the ball and keep the scoreline respectable.

The second half saw Karl come close to opening the scoring in the 53rd minute with a curling shot from the edge of the area, but it was ultimately Kane's moment of magic that put the game to bed. For Bayern, this win was the perfect exclamation point on a season for the ages—one that will be remembered for its relentless goalscoring and sheer dominance.
