It took 13 innings and four and a half hours for Trinity Christian to outlast Bishop Snyder in a baseball epic, plus more from FHSAA districts.

In a high school baseball marathon for the ages, the Trinity Christian Conquerors needed 13 innings, four hours, and 35 minutes to capture the Florida High School Athletic Association District 3-2A championship. They outlasted a relentless Bishop Snyder squad 11-10 in a game packed with enough drama, twists, and late-night heroics to fill a season.

The epic finally concluded just before midnight when Florida-commit senior Brady Harris launched a sacrifice fly to left field, allowing JaRod Flowers to sprint home and beat the throw. "I knew when it left the bat, it had a good chance," Harris said. "And it was pure joy after that." The winning run ended a contest so long that the scoreboard stopped tracking innings past the tenth. "You start to lose count," admitted Trinity Christian head coach Jon Murphy.

This was a victory forged from resilience. Trinity Christian clawed back from an 8-3 deficit, fueled by Bishop Snyder's early offensive burst that included a three-run homer from Cole Dennis. The Conquerors' comeback was anchored by a gutsy bullpen effort from infielders-turned-pitchers Jordan Martinez and Parker Loew, both LSU commits, who combined for seven innings of relief.

Even when Bishop Snyder's Ilias Mamea smashed a solo homer in the top of the ninth to take a 10-9 lead, Trinity refused to fold. Down to their final out, Aiden Arnett delivered a clutch single to tie the game and force extra innings, setting the stage for the 13th-inning finale—which was briefly interrupted by a rogue sprinkler system, adding one last surreal twist to a legendary night.

In other FHSAA district action, Creekside Knights (23-4) powered their way to a title with a 12-4 win over Sandalwood, racking up 14 hits. Meanwhile, Hudson Sapp provided all the necessary offense for Gainesville Buchholz (19-7) with a first-inning grand slam in a 4-2 victory over Tocoi Creek. Both Trinity Christian and Bishop Snyder are poised to host first-round regional games as the postseason continues.
