The Elks (19-2) jumped two spots to claim the No. 1 position, earning seven first-place votes along the way. This comes after an impressive undefeated run through Greater Western Ohio Conference play, capped by sweeps of No. 7 Beavercreek (16-5) and No. 8 Springboro (16-5).
Centerville now sits ahead of Olentangy Liberty (20-2), who received more first-place votes but trails by 17 total voting points. Archbishop Moeller (15-5) dropped from first to third after swapping spots with the Elks. Local fans will also be thrilled to see Butler (17-3) holding steady at No. 1 in Division III, joined by four other Southwestern Ohio teams in the top eight. Badin (17-3) remains at No. 2, while Kenton Ridge (18-4) climbs to No. 3. Tippecanoe (17-5) moves up to No. 5, Bellbrook (18-3) jumps to No. 8, and Monroe (14-4) checks in at No. 17.
In Division II, Troy (19-1) is on the rise, moving up one spot to No. 2. The Trojans didn't receive a first-place vote, as Lakewood dominated with 19 of 20. Division IV features Urbana (17-5) as the lone local team in the rankings at No. 15. Coldwater (17-2) holds strong at No. 2 in Division V, followed by Arcanum (18-2) at No. 14, Versailles (15-6) at No. 15, and Anna (15-4) at No. 16.
Mechanicsburg (18-0) remains perfect and sits at No. 3 in Division VI, with St. Henry (16-2) at No. 5 and Fort Recovery (13-6) tied for 19th. Finally, in Division VII, Newton (15-3) climbs to No. 6, trailing Fort Loramie (14-7) at No. 7, Minster (12-6) at No. 9, and Russia (9-10) at No. 17.
