Barcelona is gearing up for a busy summer transfer window, with several players expected to depart as the club looks to raise funds for new signings. Among the names on the potential exit list is 20-year-old forward Roony Bardghji, who has had an eventful first season in Catalonia.
Bardghji joined Barcelona last summer from FC Copenhagen for a modest €2.5 million, but his playing time has been limited due to stiff competition from teenage sensation Lamine Yamal. In 25 appearances across all competitions, the Swedish winger has managed two goals and four assists, with most of his minutes coming off the bench.
The young star's frustration boiled over in March when he publicly aired his grievances about his lack of playing time, forcing Barcelona's hand as they plan for the summer. According to Spanish outlet Sport, the club is keeping all options open regarding Bardghji's future.
Barcelona is reportedly content with Bardghji's performances this season and isn't rushing to make a decision. However, if the player insists on a more prominent role than the bit-part status he currently holds, the club is willing to let him go—for the right price. Surprisingly, that price tag is set at just €10 million, a figure that would likely attract suitors across Europe.
Should an offer in that range materialize, Barcelona's hierarchy would seriously consider it, though the final decision ultimately rests with Bardghji himself. A departure would be a blow for manager Hansi Flick, who has seen the Sweden international impress in his limited minutes. If Bardghji does leave, Barcelona would likely turn to their famed La Masia academy to find a replacement.
