Robert Lewandowski was all smiles as he celebrated La Liga glory with his family after Barcelona's statement win over Real Madrid. But amid the champagne and confetti, the veteran striker dropped a hint that could send shockwaves through the football world—he's not ruling out a move to a lower-profile league when the season ends.

Speaking to Polish TV channel Eleven Sports during the title festivities, the 37-year-old kept his cards close to his chest but left the door wide open for a potential exit. "There could be an opportunity in a lower league," Lewandowski said, as quoted by SPORT. "I'm nearly 38, but I feel physically fit, so I'm considering it. I have to bear in mind that it might be time to play and enjoy life. Perhaps that opportunity will arise, and I'm not ruling it out."

The Polish hitman, who started on the bench in Sunday's El Clasico, made it clear that his future at Camp Nou won't be decided until after La Liga wraps up. "What will I do in the autumn? I don't know. I've just found out I have 51 days left on my contract, so I still have time. I'll listen to a few more offers and then decide."

With a glittering career that includes 14 league titles across every club he's played for, Lewandowski has nothing left to prove at the highest level. "I've won a total of 14 league titles, I've won them at every club I've played for, that really impresses me and I'm proud of it," he said, reflecting on a legacy that cements him as one of the game's greats.

When asked about teammate Wojciech Szczesny's recent suggestion that he should retire and reconsider, Lewandowski laughed it off. "You know what he's like: today he says one thing, tomorrow he'll say another. It's not as if I wake up in the morning and something's hurting. I appreciate where I am and I'm enjoying it. We'll see what happens, but one thing's clear: I'm going to keep playing."

As the summer transfer window looms, all eyes are on Lewandowski's next move—and with a meeting between his agent, Pini Zahavi, and Barcelona's sporting director already in the works, the saga is just heating up. For now, the striker is soaking in every moment of another title triumph, but don't be surprised if his next chapter takes him somewhere unexpected.
