FC Barcelona and their fans are counting down the hours to a potentially historic Sunday—El Clásico against eternal rivals Real Madrid, where a single point could crown the Blaugrana as champions. It would be an unprecedented scene at the Spotify Camp Nou, marking the first Clásico at the stadium in three years.

The excitement on the pitch is matched only by the financial stakes off it. Barcelona are projecting record-breaking ticket revenue between €13 million and €15 million for this fixture, according to Catalunya Radio. That would be an all-time high for the venue, even while it remains under renovation and capped at a 62,000-seat capacity—far below its eventual 100,000-seat potential.

This revenue milestone offers a glimpse of the commercial powerhouse the Camp Nou will become once fully completed. VIP tickets are already priced between €10,000 and €12,000, underscoring the premium demand. With hospitality areas and executive boxes still being finished, the club’s long-term vision is clear: this stadium is being built to generate serious revenue.

The match itself is officially sold out. Not a single regular ticket remains. Season-ticket holders have claimed every allocation, and general admission prices ranged from €499 in the upper Corner 2 section to €799 in Tribuna 1. Only VIP packages are still available, and they are expected to vanish quickly.

Barcelona and the city are preparing for a massive football celebration. The return of El Clásico to a packed Camp Nou, with a title on the line and record revenue in the books, is the kind of moment that defines a season—and a club’s future.
