Barcelona is on the verge of clinching the La Liga title, and the excitement is building—especially with a potential Clasico against Real Madrid on the horizon that could make the coronation unforgettable. The team could mathematically secure the championship as early as this week, and fans are already dreaming of the most dramatic celebration possible.

Acting president Rafa Yuste spoke to the media ahead of tonight’s match against Osasuna, and the question on everyone’s mind was clear: when and how will Barcelona wrap up the league? Yuste was measured in his response, but the enthusiasm was undeniable.

When asked about the ideal timing for securing the title—especially with the chance to celebrate it in front of their archrivals—Yuste didn’t hesitate. "As soon as possible, as soon as possible," he said. "At that point, there’ll be no room for any doubt, and we can let our joy run free. But I always like to be extremely cautious—so we’ll go match by match, as Flick himself says, step by step."

Many Barcelona fans are openly hoping the title is clinched against Real Madrid next week, and Yuste was pressed on whether he shares that sentiment. "I agree with what I’m hearing and what the players and the coach himself are saying," he explained. "The earlier we win it, the better. Our duty is to win the league, and speculating about how and when that happens always makes you lose focus. In this case, everyone is at the peak of focus to win the three points today."

When pushed one final time on whether this week or the Clasico would be the preferred moment, Yuste returned to the only answer that matters to the team. "The league is decided when we win it mathematically, and that’s the usual phrase always, isn’t it? So, our focus today—and we were just discussing this with the team—is set on trying to secure these three points, with respect for the opponent as I always say, and nothing else, just securing the three points."

For Barcelona, the message is clear: every match is a step toward glory, and the sooner the title is sealed, the better. Whether it happens this week or in a dramatic Clasico, the team is locked in on the prize.
