The Big Ten unveiled its 2026-27 conference schedule on Tuesday, and the Wisconsin Badgers are set for a blockbuster home slate that will have fans circling their calendars.
Headlining the action at the Kohl Center are three top-10 matchups—part of a five-game gauntlet against teams ranked in the final AP Top 25 poll. The Badgers will also renew familiar rivalries with Iowa, Minnesota, and Illinois, each visiting Madison twice during the season.
Home schedule: Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Nebraska, Oregon, Penn State, Purdue, Washington
Away schedule: Illinois, Iowa, Maryland, Michigan State, Minnesota, Northwestern, Ohio State, Rutgers, UCLA, USC
Wisconsin’s home lineup is loaded with postseason pedigree. Purdue, Illinois, Iowa, Michigan, and Nebraska all finished in the top half of the Big Ten standings and reached at least the Sweet 16 in last year’s NCAA Tournament. Indiana, meanwhile, has retooled its roster and promises to be a dangerous test, while Washington will look to rebound from a down year.
The road schedule offers a slightly less intimidating path, though trips to UCLA, Illinois, and Iowa will still demand the Badgers’ best. Minnesota, as always, will be a tough out on its home floor.
Exact game dates, tip-off times, and TV assignments are expected to be announced later this summer. For now, Badger fans have plenty of reason to get excited about what’s shaping up to be a memorable season in Madison.
