Austin Rivers and Draymond Green are still going.

The NBA drama continues as Austin Rivers fires back at Draymond Green, turning a simmering feud into a full-blown verbal showdown. What started as a simple comment about coaching has escalated into a heated exchange that's got the basketball world talking.

It all kicked off when Green, on his podcast "The Draymond Green Show," dismissed Rivers' 11-year NBA career as a product of nepotism. Green claimed that Doc Rivers signing his son Austin to the Clippers was "the biggest bailout in U.S. history." But Rivers wasn't about to let that slide without a response.

Taking to social media Tuesday, Rivers unloaded on the four-time champion: "The fact that you don't have the wherewithal to do your due diligence and actually understand I was being highly complimentary of you on the Dan Patrick Show — but it's you and I shouldn't be surprised. You always act irrationally, emotionally immature, and your anger always puts you in hot water."

Then came the knockout punch: "Cut it out. Draymond, you're the backpack jump shooter. You're the guy that everyone leaves open. No one guards you."

The beef actually traces back to Warriors coach Steve Kerr, who made headlines with his April 26 New Yorker interview. Kerr said of Green: "He's such a unique person. There's things he's done that I can never forgive him for, and yet I will do anything for him." While mostly complimentary, Green responded by saying Kerr may have "hindered" his offensive development by not drawing up plays for him.

That's when Rivers entered the fray, calling Green's take "ridiculous" on the Dan Patrick Show. Predictably, Green fired back, and now we're watching this petty-but-entertaining back-and-forth unfold in real-time. With both players known for their sharp tongues, don't expect this one to cool down anytime soon.
