The Auburn Sports Network booth at Plainsman Park will be dedicated to the late Voice of the Tigers ahead of Auburn's game vs Georgia on Saturday.

In a touching tribute that perfectly captures the spirit of Auburn baseball, the program will honor the late Rod Bramblett this weekend with a permanent dedication that ensures his voice will never truly leave the ballpark.

Before Saturday's regular-season finale against rival Georgia, Auburn Athletics will officially name the home radio booth at Plainsman Park the "Rod Bramblett Home Radio Booth." It's the very spot where the beloved "Voice of the Tigers" spent countless hours bringing the action to life for generations of Auburn fans.

For those who followed Auburn sports, Bramblett's voice is inseparable from some of the most iconic moments in college athletics history. He was behind the microphone for the "Prayer in Jordan-Hare" and the legendary "Kick Six" during the 2013 football season—calls that earned him Sports Illustrated's National Broadcaster of the Year award. But his love affair with Auburn baseball ran even deeper, spanning from 1993 to 2019 as the play-by-play voice for the diamond sport.

Current Voice of the Tigers Andy Burcham, who shared both the broadcast booth and a deep friendship with Bramblett, says the honor is long overdue. "The first sport he called for his alma mater was baseball, and the new Plainsman Park was built during his tenure as the baseball voice," Burcham shared. "He loved Auburn baseball and calling games from the booth that bears his name. This is a tremendous way for us to honor his legacy."

Bramblett's journey to becoming an Auburn legend began when he took over full-time play-by-play duties in 2003, following the passing of another iconic voice, Jim Fyffe. Over his storied career, Bramblett was named Alabama Sportscaster of the Year three times. His tragic passing in May 2019 from injuries sustained in a car accident left a void that can never truly be filled—but Saturday's ceremony ensures his memory will echo through Plainsman Park for years to come.

As the Tigers prepare for their final regular-season showdown with Georgia, the dedication serves as a powerful reminder that some voices never fade away. They just find a permanent home.
