Viewers of Thursday night’s NFL draft will want to get a good look at Ohio State Buckeyes linebacker Arvell Reese.

That’s because he won’t be around long. Oh, and he’ll be wearing a custom jacket lining that reps his new brand partner, Reese’s candy.

The Reese-Reese’s partnership is a bit on the nose, but too delicious to pass up.

Meanwhile Reese is in the conversation to become the No. 2 overall pick of the New York Jets during Thursday’s first round in Pittsburgh. Reports say the Jets will select Reese or Texas Tech Red Raiders linebacker David Bailey. The Las Vegas Raiders are set to pick Indiana Hoosiers quarterback Fernando Mendoza at No. 1.

Reese displayed the inside of his jacket on the ESPN broadcast and on the NFL draft’s red carpet. When he was introduced to the crowd just minutes before the draft began, he kept it close to the vest — literally.

“I think the suit matches me …. perfectly,” Reese told Men’s Journal. “I collaborated with Reese’s, but the suit is still me at the end of the day. I’m excited to showcase it.”

The Columbus Dispatch described the jacket lining in detail.

“The middle part of the lining features photos of himself with a Reese’s candy logo above the collage,” reporter Dan Aulbach wrote. “The left panel featured an ‘R’ from the Reese’s candy logo surrounded by a Reese’s peanut butter cup design. The right panel is a shiny orange outline with both Reese and more peanut butter cups on the bottom half.”

Reese’s instinct and raw talent make him an attractive NFL prospect.

The 6-foot-4, 241-pound Reese recorded 69 tackles, 6.5 sacks, 10 tackles for loss and two passes defended in 2025. As a result, he was a consensus All-American. Reese began to emerge toward the end of the 2024 campaign, helping the Buckeyes win the national championship.
